With over 10 years in the landscaping industry in Canterbury, we have seen what works and what does not. Landscaping sure is one of those fields where if it is not done right the first time, it can create a lot more work in the future.
At Guthrie Landscapes we strive to do the best quality work while operating efficiently and setting you up for an easy care property. We may not be the biggest company out there but with significant investment in equipment and tools, combined with experience and skill, we are one of the most efficient little companies. Giving you high quality, reasonably prices and a personal service.

As much as we love our jobs, work life balance is a key aspect of our business and that is very important to us. We have young families and therefore a balance between work and life is key when planning work load.
Owner Operator
Ash Guthrie
Ash is the owner operator and has been working in the landscaping industry for almost 15years.
Previously a snowboard instructor, but these days he spends a couple of days a season on the mountain and the rest is a family life with his son and wife.
Contractor
Dave Lewis
Dave is our number one go to contractor. He is an all-round skilled guy with good common sense, great work ethic and genuinely a trustworthy guy.
He is called upon when extra hands are needed.
Administration & Marketing Manager
Sarah Hendrikx
Sarah is Ash's wife and the person who deals with most of the behind-the-scenes logistics. She is most likely the person responding to your emails.
She is a primary school teacher and currently studying her Masters in Education while also keeping the family cogs well oiled.
